Scorn is a first person, terrifying horror game, that has its players in a spooky universe with strange forms and somber tapestry.
It’s based around the idea of “being lost in the universe”. It is a lonely and unreal fantasiac world, you discover interconnected areas in a non-linear fashion. This mysterious setting has an entire character.
Every location is unique and has distinct stories, puzzles, and characters. They all play a role in the formation of a whole universe. It is a great way to discover new locations, learn different skills learn about weapons, collect other items, and attempt to grasp the world around you.
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
The cohesion of the “lived in” the world. Scorn is set in an open world that has several interconnected regions. Each area is a maze-like structure with various spaces and routes to walk through. Everything is done in-game, with no cut-scenes to divert you from the gruesome life-like, breathing world you’re inside. Pay attention as the game won’t give you any reassurance when something goes unnoticed on the haky journey. Every thing has a purpose and an explanation. It’s just a matter of trying to discover the reason.
Full body awareness- Users feel more immersed and aware of the character’s movements and body. Interaction with the world is authentic – objects are taken in fingers (instead of being floating on the air) The machines, instruments and machines are controlled by gripping control buttons, etc.
